The Hillsboro Charity Tractor Pull grew from an idea stared by a number of local friends who were concerned with how many people in the Hillsboro area needed help and did not receive it. Since farming is such an important part of the community, it was a natural choice to put on a tractor pull. During the first six years, the charity has been able to raise over $125,000 for local people in need. As the pull grew, so did the support from the local community and beyond.
