Hillsboro, Wisconsin: The Friendly City, Come to Visit, Come to Stay
Authored by Alan Picha and Thomas Hotek, "Hillsboro, Wisconsin: The Friendly City, Come to Visit, Come to Stay" offers a truly amazing look back at the history of our small community. A word from the authors: "In organizing the recognition of the 125th anniversary of the incorporation of Hillsboro, many pictures were gathered and a large volume of information was reviewed regarding the history of our community. A well deserved tribute to those who helped build our City to what we have today – we felt it necessary and appropriate to put together this collection of pictures from throughout local history. This book identifies a glimpse of the past; just a snapshot of the decades of dedication by the many families in our small town. We so appreciate all those who have given items and remembrances to the Hillsboro Area Historical Society over the years – with hopes of more to come in the years ahead."
Proceeds of the sales of this book will be donated to the Hillsboro Area Historical Society located on Maple Street at the Albert Field Memorial Park in the City of Hillsboro.
